Well, it has been almost a year...and my friends convinced me to 'remember' my password and give this site another try.  It is also rather amusing to view the comments that people have posted (from about a year ago!) that I have not read up until now.

OK.  Well, here goes trial #2 at committing myself to an online endeavor.

Latest movie reviews (as this seems to be a theme with me):

I thought the Incredibles was an adorable movie, and that Pixar did an incredibly well done job at smashing the old family movie ploys and family humor into one movie without making it absimally boring or [too] predictable.  I laughed at it, and then I wanted to buy it so that it will sooth me to sleep before I go to bed every night of my life.  Yup.  It's that kind of movie-love.

I also greatly enjoyed Constantine, the special effects are well done, and I seriously want Gabriel's haircut.  The color theme and 'hell' were well portrayed without seeming too corny.

And on to the greatest of them all:  Phantom of the Opera.  Yeah, I know that this was released a long time ago, but give me a break!  I haven't looked at this site for a year, I do have some catching up to do.  (understatement of the year).  I loved the music of Phantom, and the special effects were great...although I felt that the transitions could have used a little more finesse (but this is just my personal opinion...they were great as they were, but they still could have been a little better).  Needless to say, you know when I love a movie when I nit pick on something so seemlessly  small.

Oh yeah, I have also finally decided on my majors:  English, Art and a Minor in Psychology.  Rad.

ok...get back to you tomorrow.  or whenever i decided to look at this next. ;)

ummmm.....okey, buds.....i finally gave this crazy thing a try....

so bear with me while i bumble around in the dark for a few seconds....

(by the way, i accidentally posted this in the guestbook first, i got a little confused)

(random thought strikes, quick as insanity)

have any of you ever seen the movie Mystic River?

an old friend and i decided to try out the new 7-plex movie theater.  she had read this book called....wait a sec....all of you hold your breaths....'mystic river'.  so, we decided to watch that one.  (i find it rather disgusting that i had to pay 7 dollars)

anyway....THE MOVIE WAS DEPRESSING!!!!!

and everyone was insane.  that is, everyone but Kevin Bacon.  and i find something explicitly wrong with that, especially after his stunning performance in 'Invisible Man'

oh well, i just have to say that they were all mad.  the characters, that is.  and this annoyed me.

even if the movie was picture perfect for a class dissertation with the sidewalk names, and how the name 'Dave' was cut short...just like his childhood...and how his life was cut short....just like his name...

he wasn't a very cheerful character anyway.   sadness.

next time i think i will watch 'Girl Next Door'.  it looked shallow. and enjoyable. (seriously)

also, nicole kidman was in a senseless movie preview, and the close up of her face shows just how much she has aged.  yikes.

and that i spent 3 hours glassblowing for my class this afternoon.

it was spiffy.

I'm kinda sarcastic.  I think i will go to bed.

thanks for bearing with my random sarcasm...i really do need some sleep. I'm usually 'cheerfuller' than this

everyone have a great Easter :)
